The only solution I know of, which will retrofit our 41mm forks, is by Custom Cycle Engineering. They use the stock bottom tree with a new top tree, plus longer fork tubes that are clamped by the top tree. They market this kit as their 'Dresser Tour Trac Trees' kit. Yes I have one! Motorcycle Metal offers a set of top and bottom trees plus 49mm forks to fit earlier bikes.

It's still in it's box, waiting for some other parts at present! Sorry about that. I'm doing a complete make-over of my forks, including later brakes, sliders and wheel. It's a project on the threshold of getting under way!
