There are a lot of State Monuments in Texas but unfortunately the only official National Monument is Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument which is north of Amarillo; don't have enough time this weekend to ride that far.
I think a State Monument would be ok and within the spirit of the thread. Tomorrow is Saturday and I'm sure a lot of guys are wanting to get out and enjoy some riding.
Get after it!

Good challenge.....
This is an old pic, last year, for a similar challenge.... The San Jac Monument in Baytown, TX is actually taller than the Washington Monument.... Pretty cool thing to see if you are ever near Houston....
Hey USAF Steve, is that the stock windshield on your RGU?
No its HD but its the 19" I use it in the winter to keep rain and wind off. The stock shield is low enough to see over. I'm running a freedom shields and have a new LRS on order

Okay I thought it looked really tall. I have a 16 RGU on order... ship date is tomorrow!!!
I know we kinda did away with the photo needing to be approved.... but I will let GlideDriver approve this one because it is State and Not National (I know he already said that was ok)... but I went to the same place again.... it's not the same pic (you can tell from different exhaust, slash up vs slash down,, and that particular challenge was glasses on floorboards)... but it might be a little cheesey going to the same monument... although it was a great ride today!!!!!!
I managed to squeeze it in-between the bars again :-)
Thumbs Up! Man you do have a beautiful bike C.H.L., I sure like looking at it lol. I'm happy you had a good ride.
What is the next challenge?
Thanks!!!
How about your bike in front of a body of water.... Stream, Waterfall, Lake, Ocean, and even Icebergs so our northern friends can play....
Something related to water on the seat... swimming trunks, snorkel, life jacket, fishing pole..... if you don't have anything like that, soap or shampoo will do :-)
Ok so if I ride the back roads home from work I go over Falls Lake here in NC. I didn't have any of the gear you asked for so if you don't like what I did I'll go back tomorrow after work. Its a nice ride.
I guess you could say I'm keeping up public relations......
