Bought an '11 Ultra today, and hope to join in the fun here now. Spent five years doing the Dyna challenge, and am looking forward to getting out for picture time again. No mountains, even hills around here. Guess I will wait for the next challenge.
Most Cities have a sign when you enter the city limits that says population and elevation but here in AZ they have when the city was founded instead of the elevation.
I'm working a bike show all day today, Hopefully I'll ask around and find out where one is here in the lower area of NC. If so I'll get it tomorrow in the rain.
We found some elevation signs and we found some mountains but it snowed yesterday and we didn't venture far enough to find a mountain elevation sign. Went up to Buffalo Bill's grave on Lookout Mt. and thought for sure we would find something, nope.
I'm off on Friday and can go after this one again if it makes it that far.
Here's a pic at the buffalo outlook on I-70 just to say we tried.
