This thread died just like a character in a Stephen King movie. Someone satisfy the challenge or maybe Dan can give us a new one.
I searched Google for something around here that would qualify and find nothing.

Bump to get this back on page one.
Thanks for the bump Bill. Not sure how near you are to Nashville, but there's a reference to it in "Lisey's Story'. To be fair, I did have to dig to find that one, it's obscure, lol. So a sign for Nashville would meet the challenge...
Yeah google wasn`t nice to me either. Only thing I know around here is the Mansfield Prison, which was used for Shawshank Redemption. But not actually a town or city named in his works around here. Google said there is Harrison Ohio, right by the Indiana border, like 3+ hours from me and I`m not able to put in that kinda time right now, ( 7 hours round trip ) So........

Mansfield prison is cool with me too - I didn't mean to make this impossible 😀
Also, if you're near Akron, the bad guy in needful things was from there, supposedly..

I am just south of nashville. I believe there is a county line sign about 10 miles from me. I should have checked this thread earlier and could have slipped out for a photo. Maybe tomorrow if someone else doesn't get this first..
Hmmm, six days with no action on this thread.....might be time for an amended challenge Dan. Whaddaya think?
Ok I was hoping for Mr King. But I think you're right. Since I'm drinking a locally brewed beer right now, how about a pic of your bike at your local brewery - anything from tiny micro brew up to giant corporate place. Cheers!

Sorry Dan, I was just lazy on this one. No good Nashville signs around me other than interstate signs and those are not the best for photo ops.
I do have the Old Tennessee State Prison that was used in The Green Mile on the other side of town and should have snagged that one for you. If I get a chance and am in that area I will get a pic for you just because.
Here's my bike at the Old Bisbee Brewing Company. The Brew House is behind the tall red doors and the beers are pumped under the street into the tap room to the left of my bike.
Entrance to the Old Bisbee Brewing Company and the elevated patio above my bike.
Helmet, glasses and tape measure on the seat. We were just on home grown beers so how about homegrown heroes for the next challenge? Your bike, GOS, infront of your local VFW or American Legion.

Thank you! Definitely a winner! I like the new challenge as well!
