Photo Game Challenge thread...
. I did not expect to find any kind of covered bridge in Florida. This may not be the only one, but i'm sure they are far and few between if any others.
This is the George E.Hanns Bridge spanning a little bit of water in the Princess Place Reserve, on Princess Place Road, in Palm Coast Florida. May not be a New England style covered bridge and maybe not too old, but it is a "covered" bridge, so should meet the challange.
It was 1.7 miles in on a very soft sand over the top of a hard pan dirt road that liked to rattle the teeth out of my head. Nearly bucked me off my ride twice once in and once out in exactly the same place. Deep soft sand catching the front wheel. Hung on and rode it through.
The beach sand that was all over the deck and approach ramps made turning my ride around to get out very challanging. If you look closely, you can see the glasses on the seat.
OK, assuming you aagree this meets the challange, what are we going to do next? Lets see, something very easy.
How about a waterfall, either natural or man made. 2 points for Natural, only 1 point if man made
Don't forget GOS and a helmet or dew rag hanging on the bike, just to make sure it is a pic taken after this challange.
GOS is usually Glasses on Seat, but I will give you extra credit for being creative with the garden gloves.
So it is your turn to post the challange...be creative but come up with something everyone can try to find.
Edit: dandrumheller, you are going to have to wait tor the next challange. How about a side bet...I get it before you do, whatever it is.
How"s this? GOS mean gloves? I can't see very well without my glasses on. I don't where glove either so grabbed these to throw on seat.
Also don't know much about airplanes but I live a mile from this one and when the restaurant was open it was alot of noise with the planes coming and going.
Keep 'em shiny side up...I'll still be lurking around to see all the cool pics!

I was actually thinking about doing covered bridges instead of the statue one, but figured only the guys in the Northeast would have a decent shot at it. Very cool that you proved me wrong on that point!
I don't think I'd have been able to get any closer than this - and I would have had a fence in the way too...even the little airports around me are secured with fences and access control. I have a feeling I could maybe guess the gate code at one of them, but don't really want to get in trouble! :-)
I have a man-made waterfall (well, a dam, if that counts) 30 seconds from my house. I'd go get a picture of it with my bike. But I made a little change today, so I don't think I can participate here anymore. This makes me a little sad, as this is one of the most fun forum threads I've ever been a part of...

I had that brand once back in the early 80's. Only it had 4 wheels and was wedge shaped. Gold colored TR-8 convertible. One of the last they ever built.
