I'm curious, is there a rule that says the person who gives the challenge cannot complete that challenge as well? I gotta re-read the rules again I guess.
Don't think the person who made the challenge can win it, but if it goes too long without anyone completing, they can change the challenge.
Can't find any small towns that list population here in VA. I did however, find that there are some pretty strange towns out there--such as Yogaville (complete with an Ashram). They did NOT advertise that there were less than 250 residents though.
Satchidananda Ashram - Yogaville was founded by Yogiraj Sri Swami Satchidananda in 1980. The ashram is the international organizational headquarters of Swami Satchidananda's documented teachings, located in the county of Buckingham, Virginia.
The primary vision of this world-traveled guru Yogiraj Sri Swami Satchidananda (1914-2002) was interfaith understanding as a vehicle to world peace. To this end, with his vision and much work from thousands of disciples and admirers, the LOTUS (Light Of Truth Universal Shrine) was constructed and inaugurated in 1986.

I completed one of my challenges because it drug out for too long..... Everyone was ok with it just to get a new challenge I think....
I did my fair share of google mapping and although there are plenty of towns that fit the requirements near me, none of them post a sign to brag about it. Closest one I could find is about 4 hrs from here with a population sign that is updated every year to keep track of how close they are to horses outnumbering the people.
ahhhaaa!!! google is your friend, shortly after posting my last comment I found this little gem and decided to take the afternoon off and head up. Dodged some weather, got hit by a little just enough to get swamp *** but mission accomplished!
