Two veterans with me @ The Mayberry Veterans Memorial With Whirly Gig Flags, Don't know why the picture didn't post from my phone. The gentleman on the Right served in Viet Nam, my friend and I served during the desert wars

Wow, SaftyMan. Great challenge.


You inspired me to:


1) Wash my bike
2) Install a flag pole I've been kicking around the garage for a few years
3) Buy a new US flag
4) Re-learn how to properly fold US flag
5) Snag a few challenge photos


This one is in the small township I live in.

Yep, and your crap is headed right for us. We couldn't go to the lakes this weekend as we usually do. The ramps are closed for too much water. How a month makes a difference; the lake we frequent has risen 25 feet in a month. I guess we are no longer in the exceptional drought category.

We were supposed to have a weekend ride to Kerville / Hill Country this weekend....

We'll have to meet up and ride one of these days....

Cibolo Veterans Memorial Park.

Pretty neat place, Every tree has a plaque with "In Memory Of" and the name, and personal note from the family of, a local Veteran.
