I agree....watch Ebay for sure. They might showup....and then you can showup and kick some ***. Someone ever stole my stuff like that...I guarantee they would never walk again.

In my area, we use to have trouble with someone stealing license plates off of vehicles. I ended up screwing my license plate down with torx. Phillips or flat-tip screw driver heads are common...but how often does someone have torx in their tool box?

Thanks for the headsup...I have two baggers and never gave it any thought before. I might rig something up.

here's a suggestion.
take a bolt of appropriate size and run it in to the saddle bag from the outside, nut it from the outside to hold it tight so it don't turn.
Use a nylock wing nut on the inside. Then you can undo it from the inside with your fingers and lift the bag off.

Just remember, locks and such are for honest people.
Normally the theft occurs with in 5 or 10 minutes after you are out of sight in places like that.
The thiefs figure you will be gone at least 15 minutes or longer and if they work in pairs some one watches you go in the gate..... gotcha!
Been lucky so far, but then I don't leave valuables on the bike.

Then, a knowledgeable thief will just take a 7/16 wrench and take the bag off by taking out the bracket bolts. You can zip the bags off with a gear wrench in less than 2 minutes.

It doesn't really matter what you do. If they want it, they are gonna get it or damage something trying to get it. A thief can nearly strip a bike with no more tools than it take to fill up his back pocket.

Know the feeling.. My son brought home his NEW '06 RG and parked it in his gated Apt car port.. Covered it and chained down the bike to the Covered Car Port - Came out the following morning early (he was going to ride it out to put on some Bling-Bling that I had here @ the house... and ... Yep... they got his bags & everything in them & they were locked... Most insurance companies WILL NOT cover content... Had a $1,000.00 deduct... Bags close to $1500.00... Needless to say his bike is now a residence in my garage which sucks for his as he lives 2+ hrs away... New bags are bolted down and has a pager alarm installed... Yea It Sucks!!
