Gorgeous bike! Has there been any improvements in the stock seat since I bought my 2010? Because I also wanted to leave mine completely stock, but the stock seat had to go ... then I had to change out the bars to get comfy. But, never had any regrets getting a Road King!
Congrats. I've got the same bike/color. Same sissy bar and rack. So far only additions are Fuel Moto slip ons, and CVO Road Glide solo seat. Love this bike.
Each HD I have had, a 2007 FLSTF, and now, my 2011 FLHRKC, left the dealer without being stock, so I have no idea how a stocker runs LOL. Enjoy your ride.
I said the same and so for eh so good. Only $200 Wild Pig slip ons and Variable Xieds. Done. No Cams No air Kit, No tunes, Bike is quick enough and now loud enough and rich enough. Although I can still hear the racket in the top end. Hoping RedLine will cure some of that.
I vowed initially because I was not sure I would keep it and a stock bike is a much easier sell than one that has been messed with internally. (At least that is my deal breaker) Another thing is people usually don't report issues with stock bikes. No "tunes" needed. Just run it. I can put my bike back completely stock in 30 minutes.

This is my 6th new HD since my 1976 FXE. I've probably spent over 75K on modifications in that many years, including Stroker Kits in the Shovelhead / Evo. years.
I rode three 2014 models and told myself "If one of these isn't perfect for me As Is" don't buy this year".
Oh yeah I promised SWMBO I would be all done with this one.....
