Default Maxlok MX/T6 Adhesive Kit Available...

Did my SE Compensator upgrade this weekend...had a setback last weekend when I went to 'glue' the oil diverter piece to the inside of the primary cover and found that my adhesive kit was dried up. Chembar...a seriously stand up company, I might add...replaced it at no charge. FEDEX delivered it Saturday morning.

Anyway...I have the remainder of the tube, two nozzels and the HD plunger kit I'll give to anyone needing it for the cost of shipping it to you. At almost $30.00 a kit for the adhesive alone I would hate to have to just toss it out. There is enough adhesive left to 'glue' another half-a-dozen oil diverters!

BTW...you do not need to use a caulk gun with this...the adhesive will easily squeeze out of the tube with hand pressure.

Shoot me a PM...first come, first served!

Ride safe...

Steve

Hey guys...I'm trying to give this stuff away...I don't want to through it out!

Just pay the shipping of $5.95 for USPS Priority Mail.

Default Oil Diverter Adhesive

Old thread but discussed often... Someone here or on another forum suggesting asking the dealer to glue the diverter on, so today when I went to get the shims, bearing service kit, diverter, clip, T70 screw/bolt, and an outer primary cover gasket (about $70 worth of parts) I took the primary cover with me. I had already cleaned and prepped the area where the diverter gets stuck on. I also took my own C-clamp and rag so that I could walk out with everything stuck together.

Don't know if I was lucky, shop wasn't too busy or what, but the service writer took everything to the back and came out in a short while with the diverter glued in place... didn't charge me anything! So, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Your luck may vary (YLMV)

Don't buy adhesive from HD.. They charge close to $50.00 bucks. You can order directly from https://www.chembar.com/product/lord...laces-welding/ for $22.50 plus $13.40 ground FedEx shipping.

If he hadn't sold it to Strobe 6-1/2 years ago, it would have been dried up by now anyhow...........
