Ordered my replacement battery from batterymart March 20. Back Ordered until April 7th. Received a call yesterday informing me now shipping date April 17th. Was offered an alternative but I wanted to stick with the higher CCA rating. Not a big deal as my old battery still works good enough for now. Now if the winter vortex would just take the hint and @#$* off so we could get back on two wheels, all would be good in the world.
I had a Lithium battery.....notice I said had.... not nearly as durable as a normal battery, they do charge faster, and have nice starting amperage, but don't leave your radio on, or let it get cold.... never again for me.
Not all lithium batteries are the same. I have been running one for close to 2 years. Cold does not harm it. Many times I have used it in below freezing temps. But you are right...if you leave electrics on for long periods without the engine running, it will drain it faster than a lead acid.

Yep, triple the warranty period, lot smaller, faster cranking, less weight, but usually More than double the price. Not right for everyone.
