I have a daddy long leg 2up which is I think the same thing as a Maverick. Could use some gel but otherwise I'm fine with it. Did about 3000 miles on it so far.

Sent while riding!

I don't have the Maverick but the Monterey. Basically the same seat, but the Monterey is the solo version. A little firm initially, but has softened over the 3000 miles I've put on it. It's comfortable for me now.

I have the continental 2-up touring. About 5k miles on it. Both the wife and I love it. I just got the Monterey solo a week ago. Rode about 30 miles with the it and I'm very happy with it as well. LePera seats are firm but the foam is top quality. Not mush foam that gives you numb butt.

How does the Monterey position you as far as riding position? It's on my short list of solo's. I'm 6'2" with 35" inseam..

I ride on the Maverick, very comfortable with good back support, and my passenger finds the seat great too.

ive got the lepera maverick. great quality seat. lepera is a firm seat vs mustang which is softer. the built in back support is awesome. i love the seat but my wife would like a softer seat. also i tried to have mean city cycle put some gel in the passenger part of the seat but they cannot mod lepera seats. ive put 10k miles on it and maybe it softened up a little bit but not much.

Troop, with your inseam length I'd recommend one of the models available in a Daddy Long Legs version. These move you back about 2 inches compared to the stock seat. I have the Outcast DDL solo seat and at 6'1" with 33" inseam I have lots of room. As others have said, these are top-quality seats with great foam.

I had one(lepera maverick) for 1 very short ride on my previous bike, a softail.
It was the hardest seat that I have ever had the dis-pleasure of having my *** on!
It was like sittin' on a vinyl covered 2 by 4.
Damn!!
Unless you're into torture, DON'T!!!
IMHO.

IMO the Monterey sat me slightly back compared to the stock RK seat. LePera is good at letting you try the seat (w/o the cover) to see what adjustments you need. My inseam is 30", so I had LePera adjust to move me forward.

Dynamick suggested the Daddy Long Legs version. I concur as well on that. LePera is very friendly to talk to and you may want to do that if any questions.

LePera has a YouTube on the Monterey here
.
