well ive been on here for a few years,i traded my 2010 flstc with a small fortune into it from soup to nuts for a 2014 limited.im 43 and was so ready for the comfort and all the gadgets on this wind cutting machine ,man what a ride this thing is.love everything about it,missed my turn twice messing with the dash stuff haha,so effortless to ride I can work 8 hrs tieing iron and can ride this thing half the night with no complaints, love the radio too,now I will do stage 1 but this time look for pipes I can stand for 10 hr days instead of my old fatcat ,still have to change sig pic,can some one give me thoughts on the CFR pipes, will I still hear radio, thanks in advance, glad to be here on the comfort side.
Congrats on the new ride. Previously owned a 2011 ultra limited and it was super comfortable especially after I got the hammock seat (most comfortable seat ever). My wife and I did 8 hours in one day with no rider fatigue.

the CFR pipes are in my opinion the best sounding pipes out there, but you do lose some hp w/o the baffle...the sound is without rival
I did the same thing. I went from a fully decked out, all chrome, Fat Boy, to a Road King. The comfort level is amazing. Don't think for a second I don't miss the Fat Boy, because I do. But for two up long hauls with the wife, these touring machines are amazing!
