I'm reading all kinds of opinions about the HD SE Street Cannon slip-on mufflers. I think I want some but can't decide based on the varying opinions. I had V&H Monster Ovals, good sound but ugly. I currently have Rineharts on my RKC, love the sound but want a better/different look on my 2012 Ultra. I had Rush on my 08, didn't care for the sound, a bit loud for me...I did like the look. So what do you think?
I really like the Street Cannons on my RKC. Only slightly louder than stock but a completely different tone. Nice rumble at idle and really bark when you roll on the throttle. Not obnoxious when cruising.
Looks are in the eye of the beholder, but I like mine with the burst endcaps. Here's what they look like.
PS--I posted before and after videos a while back (March?) that show the sound comparison to stock.

I bought a set of CVO take offs that came off a 13 CVO Ultra Classic off eBay for $149 shipped. Came with the Chrome revolver end caps. No louder then stock but a deeper tone. 4" cans, Much better looking then stock and a lot cheaper then new street cannons.
I ordered mine on March 22nd...... First they were on backorder until 4/14. Now it's 4/24 and the tips (just the slashdowns!) are on b/o until 4/29.... It means they're selling a boatload of these things.
But every description on here tells me I'm just going to LOVE them. Can't wait! SE Ventilator and a Stage I download and I'll be done!
Well, except for all the safety chrome I told my wife I need........

Wow! That's a great deal. Cheapest I've seen is $275 so far (which is still inexpensive in comparison to other slip-ons).
Pretty much in line with everyone else. I like them. Deep tone, low idle rumble, not too loud at speed. Crack when you roll the throttle. They are a bit quieter than what I expected but I'm ok w/ that. No idea how they sound from behind though. Need to find somebody I trust to ride my bike and stand there while they ride away. Only way to know for sure how good they sound.
