My understanding is that the TL7 has a plastic lense vs. glass on the HD reflector. Also, one of them (maybe both) stick out further requiring the HD French ring to make it look ok.
In any event, I don't ride much at night and am fine with replacing my Chinese H4, 5000K, $5 bulb once a year. Gives me an opportunity to clean behind there.

I just fitted the HD reflector and it's perfect.

Could you post a couple pics? Can't say that I've seen the new Harley reflector on a bike yet.
