For the last couple of years I've spent considerable time and money fitting all kinds of stuff to my 2006 Dyna Super Glide Custom. Foot boards and saddle bags and back rests...finally after installing a windshield it hit me, I need a different bike. Here's my new to me 2007 Black Perl Street Glide
I'm resisting the urge to add a bunch of stuff to it, but I do have a King travel pak on order along with all of the really expensive other stuff you need to install it in a 'quick release' capacity.
Some notable upgrades that it included were - quick release passenger back rest, driver back rest, Rinehart true dual pipes, power commander, stage one air filter, lower fairing kit. It has a cigarette lighter/12 volt power outlet, but that might be stock.
I'm enjoying already...why did I wait so long? I always thought of touring bikes as 'old man' bikes, until I became an old man (well, 38 is old enough). Now I can truly appreciate them.
My wife was a big driver of this upgrade. I let her ride on the back of my friend's Road King a few years ago and she's been whining about me getting something bigger ever since. Taking her from Northern Ohio to Memphis TN on a stock Dyna didn't help either.
Hey that is a nice machine you got there I love the 07 Harleys. I got off a
2000 wide glide "not by choice," but since I lived, I figured I deserved a
Road King
I went through the same process with my 06 Street Bob it went from the one up bobber you see in my sig pic to this before I finally gave up and bought a Limited
