First, went to wicked image fast lanes. Much better. Then i got new bars that put my hands in the middle of the mirrors, so i bar-mounted the fast lanes using wicked i stems. Way huge improvement in usefullness. Fairing mounts look great but I gotta see more stuff around me.
Got any pics?
I have the fast lanes too, but notice some of my hands in the mirrors as well, but there seems to be enough mirror to see. I would be interested though is seeing what you got jefla if you don't mind?
Thanks
I put a black set on my 06 SG. I liked them much better than stock. I thought you could see just as well as the stock ones. Since then I've changed bars and controls fall right in the middle of the mirrors so went with bar mounts. If anyone would like the PM mirrors I'd part with them at a very reasonable price.
i put some fairing mount mirrors on my 2010, when i got my 2013 flhtk, i got extenders for the stock mirrors....i couldn't get used to the fairing mounted ones.
I do, but they are not very good pics. Sorry. Actually, I first bought the Fast Lanes on your recommendation. I'm real happy with this setup.
I recall our correspondence.
Those look really good!
What kind of stems are those HD they appear to be. Short or long?
Your bike is lookin' good too BTW!

lionsm13 is asking about the stems shown in the pics at post 13. The stems are also Wicked Image. Unfortunately, because WI appears to have gone out of business (and never shipped mirriors that I paid for) I bought a full WI mirrior set through JP and transferred the stems to the Fast Lanes. The stems are a tad short and so my left hand sometimes hits the bottom of the mirror. Visibility, however, is fantastic. To work, other stems must be drilled and tapped to accept the threaded stud coming out of the Fast Lanes. Not sure if that thread size is standardized.
