I noticed last night on my 2013 Street Glide that it actually calls out oil levels on the crank case dip stick "while on jiffy stand and on center stand" or something like that. I'm pretty sure that it did say the word "jiffy" guess it's a Harley thing

Had Harley's since the 1970's when I started riding and they have always been called Jiffy stands even here in Canada? Ours are metric though so we call them Miffy stands. (Just kidding. There are no MIFFY stands except maybe at the Mall) LOL

Even with weight on it, while the jiffy stand has some sort of notch in the frame to prevent the bike from rolling off the stand, I still don`t trust it on any grade of significance. Then I put the bike in first gear when parking, and take it back out of gear making sure I can see the neutral light when I turn on the switch before attempting to start it.

When I owned my `09 Dyna I had that problem too, but soon developed a technique where my heel would snag the Jiffy, and it then became second nature. There is an extension you can get specifically for this if you want.
