throttle cable return issues
I had this same issue after doing bars on my dyna. It ended uo being a combination of issues.
1. You have to adjust the cable properly, there are video's out there.
2. Make sure your grips aren't rubbing at the end of the bars. You need to pull them out slightly.
3. You need to lube the grip with a small amount of dry graphite.
4. Lube the throttle cable
5. I also must have damaged the sleeve of my stock grip when I changed them over to the new bars. I had another stock grip I replaced it with and it worked much better.

Make sure your new cables are the type to take oil before you oil them. Otherwise you may end up having to replace them.
