Default Cheap Quick Detach Kit Okay?
Thinking about removing my pizza box. The Harley kit is $550 plus $80 for a wire harness to relocate an antenna. An aftermarket kit for $250.00 or less on eBay(they invite offers)appears to give you essentially the same kit as the HD kit accept you don't get a license plate bracket to relocate your plate: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141266992809...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Any opinions or experience with this much less expensive kit?

I have both the harley one and a cheaper copy can't tell the difference between the two. The latches on the factory harley one fell apart and had to be replaced..zero problems with the cheaper one

That's the same set up I'm using from eBay. Like posted above, great quality and can't tell the difference. I always shop eBay first. Saves $$$ and nothing goes to Uncle Sam...
