don't know if this is directed to my answer or not, since i wasn't trying to technically answer your question. My bad form of course.

But, i did want u to know that the HD Pump is a quality product, (unlike some of the other questionable and expensive HD parts). From what I've read on this board, there really isn't another off-brand product, that achieved the same result in a compact package.

If obviously e-bay, is going above market price, you'd be better off going to one of the discount HD shops as was recommended.

Hopefully no harm, no foul.

Had a similar problem on a hot rod board.. All about finding a trailer to haul my 40k car to the detroit autorama in march. Some people dont think it snows in michigan. I had 20 people tell me i had enuff money to buy a trailer and the other 20 were just idiots. Now i didnt shop for my glide and i payed cash..I did buy where i wanted to. I may have payed cash but im not rich and i need to save for retirement so im cheap too.. If i bought a new truck and trailer where is my retirement? and id like a deal on a air pump too.. The harley stuff inst cheap ..
Dont let them get to ya..
Enjoy
Dave

I have a pump I bought from an advertisement in Hustler Magazine. Will it work on my shocks?

Don't let it get ya... Sometimes humor gets lost in text, and sometimes, well, yeah, sometimes folks are just bitter... Watching the clock so I can get back on the bike, and get outta here...

I have the HD pump, and I like it. It is well made, and does the job. My thought was to use the purpose-made product, because I have heard that the air shock is an expensive part to fix/replace...

If you do end up finding another product that works well, let us know..

I appologize for my "insensitive comments".

Sometimes you just have to go the the MOCO... and this is one of those times. E-bay doen't have all the answers, or products. The HD pump is WELL worth the minimal investment, as I stated in my first post to your previous thread.
