Ther will always be a few of those people who know everything. Don't let it get to you. I refer to posters like that as "my mother." It makes me chuckle. If I had the answer to the question or already owned the item I was asking an opinion about I probably wouldn't be asking about it. Duh. Just ignore it. Don't let it get to you...

i don't know what happened, nor do i care, but i have seen a pump for a mountain bike that looks exactly like the hd pump but was about 10 bucks cheaper. same specs, same anti-leak valve, etc.....

i don't remember where it was, but if you were to take a few minutes searching some mountain bike sites, you might find it. maybe not, but it won't cost you anything to look.

i would look, but i have progressive 440s so i don't need it.

Stash,

When I looked into getting a pump for my EG I found that the HD pump was the best deal around. I looked at ebay and found that by the time I would win the auction and pay S&H it was cheaper to drive to the dealer. That doesn't happen often!

It is sad that some people are so quick to type out things that they wouldn't say to your face when responding to a post.

Normally I am thick skinned enough that I weed throught the ignorant answers to get to the honest ones. I guess this time it pi$$ed me off.
Maybe I'm wrong and you are certainly entitled to your opinion,
It's called free speach and like you said, you just have to weed thru it.

Some folks are just out to shock and annoy other folks.Don't sweat the small stuff and remember it's all small stuff.

I have the MOCO pump.It was well worth the money.Biggestdawg is right,by the time you pay S&H from Ebay and have to wait a week for it,it's not worth the ten bucks You save from Ebay.Well,it's not to Me anyway.

Take Care!

Hey Bryan, You really are a stand up guy, I am sorry we live so far apart, we may have been friends.

Stash,
I never said originally but I have the HD pump and when I had a 20% off sale day at my dealer (Hampton Roads HD[8D]) I bought it there. It really is a fine little pump, takes up no room in the side bag and is made well. I deemed it worth the money. I buy and SELL loads of stuff on eBay, have for years and could not find anything comparable for the price. For those of you that have Larry Flints pump do not use it on your scoot!

Peace,
