Question More sound please?

I'd like to get just a little more sound out of the pipes than the stock on my 2011. I don't want to shake windows or wake neighbors, just want a little more rumble. Any suggestions for an inexpensive way to achieve this?

I like the Rineharts, but myself, prefer the 4". I think they're deeper + not as loud as the 3.5s.

I've running Rush pipes since 2008. Very price friendly, awesome sound with different baffle choices. JR

+1 on the Rush. Right now I only have the slip ons with the 3 in baffles and it is a big improvement over stock. Will eventually go with the full system and smaller baffles. Nice part is that you can tweak the sound from quiet to loud by swapping out the baffles.

They had a performance demo at a local dealer with a chance to hear all of the different combos. If you can catch something like this I would highly recommend as it gives you a real opportunity to compare the different set ups.

De-cat your header and install a set of Fuel Moto Jackpot Dyno Tuned 4" Mufflers. Killer combo!

Plus, if the Standard baffles are too quiet/loud for you, then you can swap in the Quiet or Competition baffles.

You DO know that folks are going to push what they have/like, right?

If you want just a little more sound and inexpensive, remove the cat. You can do this yourself, and leave the stock mufflers until you hear the difference, this may be exactly what you want.

Yup, Rush. Alot of Harley dealers carry them in stock, and there are different diameter baffles to make them as loud or quiet as you want. I like loud, so I have 2.5" baffles in mine. If you want a little rumble, but not loud, you can put a 1.5" or 1.75" baffle in, and I'm pretty sure you don't have to tune it up on a dyno machine or anything. Just install & go.
