I sold my '06 SG and purchased a 2010 EG Classic. I feel like I'm sitting on the tank so I am looking to find a seat that will move me back a little but I don't want to sit any higher. Lower is OK.
I have a 32" inseam. I'm sure many of you have experienced this same problem so I am looking for some advice. There are many different brands available including HD Tallboy seats. Just wondering what has worked for most.
Been through this same problem myself & after months of research I can tell you with confidence I chose C&C Seats....they're seats are made for tall guys which will allow you to sit a little lower & back away from the gas tank. I couldn't be happier with the look, feel, comfort, price & customer service.
Same seat issue's too. The stock seat on my 12 SG is ok. I have the HD back rest it helps but long rides are becoming a problem for me and my wife. I've tried a seat off a 09 Ultra, very comfortable for both of us but it sits me up to high. I'm 5'8" so it puts me on the tips of my toes when stopped. I tried the HD reduced reach seat but it made me feel like I was on top of the tank and was not very comfortable on the family jewels! Now I'm looking at a Corbin but am hesatant about spending the money on one. Any advice?
I was riding with a Sundowner seat on my SG. Very comfy, had memory foam put in at Mean City Cycles. Wondering if I can put a SG Sundowner on my EG classic. That may move me back where I want to be.
