makes a lot of sense. you would need the spacer to move it out then (assuming you don't mind losing the heel shifter). also, maybe move the lever one tooth on the splined shaft, that'll give you more lift.
Skratch... I did move my shifter up a spline or 2. Initially I couldnt even get my boot under it. Im not to worried about the heel shift. I prefer the toe shifter anyways, All though I did notice after using the heel shift, when I went back to shifting up on the toe shifter it seemed alot harder to get in gear... Im thinking of switching to synthetics and maybe that will help some..
Zenglide, that's something like im looking for, but that particular one doesnt match what Im going for, thx though..
Had the same problem.....and I am all fixed up now.
Put a PINGLE peg extender on the front shifter, eliminated the heel shifter and added a pingle heel shifter eliminator and moved the toe shifter to the outside of the pivot.
Im new here .. Been trying to find a good cheap heel shifter for my 2005 v rod anyone able to help ? I checked M&m and they dont cary one for my bike ..
