Default 2013 Electra Glide exhaust mods?

I HATE the sound of my bike. Sounds like a Honda. Tried putting V&H slip ons w/o any real improvement. I'm told I should drill out the catalytic converter. Any experience or advice for this?

Yep you need to do it. I cut a window in mine. Removed it all than welded it back up. I hear some drill it out with a paddle bit. There is a thread here some where on how to do it that way.

...I installed V & H Dresser Duals with their Twin Slash cut 3" mufflers on my '13 EGC at 4800mi. in January. Also did a Screamin' Eagle A/C & Power Commander V unit. Great sound, no cat, cooler running engine, better breathing engine & seems like I'm only downshifting 1/2 the time now on hills and rollers. I'm more than pleased with this set-up.

I have another solution for you. I have brand new V&H Twin Slash 4" Rounds on my 2013 EGU limited. They are too friggin' loud on my bike (I also have Dresser Duals). Although some have told me the Twin Slashes are still loud with the stock header. What V&H slipons did you buy? Maybe a trade will solve both our problems?

Default Thanks guys!

I'm a bit vague on the specifics for do this. You Tube has taken down the videos for the details of the procedure. I seem to remember seeing a guy using a concrete coring bit (pricey) and another said to use a paddle bit. Have any of you done this yourself, and what should I look for?
