Default best performance bang for buck

Wanting to do some upgrades to my bike which is a 2010 96" flhx want to keep all rideability in it for in town and highway purposes. But just want a lil more *** behind it. Should I go gear driven can or stay with the original chain style. What's have you all done and what's the outcome. Thanks.

1.) Intake/fuel management/exhaust. Soooo many choices but the popular one spot shopping place is Fuel Moto.
2.) Cams (see above)
3.) Head work (tons of options)
4.) CID increase (tons of choices)

Happy shopping

Assuming it's tuned well, a decent cam is going to be the most cost-effective upgrade. No reason to convert to gear drive, just upgrade the bearings while you're in there.

Wouldn't gear drive upgrade with the cams be wise if your going to the trouble to change out the cams???? Just wondering since Im thinking Andrews after warranty period.

Nope.

Your crank is probably too far out of spec to go gears, and even still it's just not necessary.

De cat the head pipe, get an Arlen Ness big sucker, and add Night riders FL-ViED-10.
That is the cheapest Bang for the bucks, but not the best power for the bucks, that is
the poor mans Stage I.

I agree. Cams were the single most significant peformance upgrade for me. But you should have a stage 1 done before you get them.
