Default PV Tuner Question

Received my Power Vision from Fuel Moto yesterday. Installed the tune pretty quickly and went for a ride. A definite difference in the ride, really woke the bike up. When I had my PC-V on, I had to disconnect the O2 sensors. Now that I have tuned the ECM, should I go ahead and use the O2 sensors again...for the closed loop operations?

Thanks.

Cale

It may make a little difference in performance. It will make more difference in MPG. Unless the AFR is set above .981 in the cruise area it is outside the area the O2's are capable of reading and it won't go into closed loop. You also can't auto tune without them being hooked up or have the wideband O2's with Auto tune module mounted and then the wide bands will only work if using when using AutoTune Pro.

You should reconnect the 02 sensors and then you should do Autotunes. The base tune you have is only a close proximity of your best tune. Once you do the autotune it dials it in and it gets smoother and more responsive. There is a big ugly thread that you should become a part of on here.

Go there and join in on the last page and ask as many questions as you'll have. It's not like the old plug&play days.

My 02 sensors are in place but not activated. When my 07 SG there were some issues to get modified with the tunes that Dynojet set to me in reference to the ACR. Still can't get AT to function properly, just don't seem to worry about and the bike runs strong.
Thought about getting the bike Dyno'd and tuned properly, but $350.00 ..humm

Autotune needs the O2 sensors to run. If you want to autotune activate the O2 sensors.
