Default Big problems!

Hey guys, I was out for a nice short ride today everything was going great and all of a sudden my bike started making a loud squealing noise and my rear tire locked up on me. So I get to the side of the road thought it was the rear brakes but they are fine. So I put it in neutral and go to start it and it jumps just like if you were starting it in gear without pulling the clutch weird right. I pull the clutch in kick it into 1st and go to get back on the road but it's like I'm holding the brakes it won't move after a little more trying it starts to move then stops and makes a huge clunking noise. Enough to freak me out and keep from trying that again so I'm lost any ideas as to what the issue could be. It's a 1999 FLHTC TC/88 with 9,000 miles on it.
Thanks, James

Just off the hip here, did the 10k service just get done and someone forgot to put oil in the primary?

Drive pully bolts... Are they backing out and hitting the swingarm? How do you only have 9000 miles on a '99?

Sounds like a catastrophic transmission failure. Hope not!

Drive pulley bolts wouldn't keep it from starting in neutral. Gotta be in the primary.
