Bike is 2008 street glide. Had the 402's. I still recall they didn't seem as firmly planted on the road as the commanders, even when they were new. Maybe the compound is different. The tread pattern is way different-maybe that's it? I will probably try the Elites next time-buy American. Tire shop didn't have them at the time and I have heard a lot of good about the commanders. Thought I would give them a try. So far I'm really pleased.
