I wear waterproof hiking boots when on a long trip. Around town if I get caught in the rain - I get wet.

I have always worn boots for riding and I would wear Chippewa waterproof logger style boots. Last year I bought a pair of Harley's Lynx Performance Bootswhich are totally waterproof and very lightweight. I really like these. I tried the boot covers and hated them.

I have a pair of boot covers for my upcoming trip. My riding boots are ventilated, so not very good when it rains. I also have "lobster claw" gloves for my hands, too. Joe

i do have them and really only use them during my long road trips. They work well and are no big deal to put on. they fold up pretty small and take up hardly any room in the saddle bags.

Got a set with me but only wear them in extreme rain. My lowers do a pretty good job of keeping the boots dry if you remember to close the vents.

Having a Classic without lowers I have a set ot Tourmaster boot covers. They work great. Come up to just below my knees. Before buying them I wore my frog toggs with waterproof boots and my lower legs and sometimes my feet (even with the boots being waterproof) would get wet.

I have Harley Gators but have not used them. The lowers do a good job blocking most of the rain. My wife and I bought them with our HD rainsuits. She returned hers.
