On memorial day my son and I rode 170 miles one way for breakfast. Even though he had a major allergy attack we still had a great time. We rode to Ocean City Maryland and came home up the coastal highway. Perfect weather.
Sounds like a great ride. Hope to do that some time soon with my son, but his work schedule makes it hard to find the time. Love Ocean City.....been there many times.
My 15 year old daughter has been riding with me since she was 8. On Memorial Day she got her her first shot of rain. Handled it pretty well considering it sucks.
Awesome. Last year I got my daughter into going on rides with her pap (my dad) and I. She's 13 now and really wants to go on a long ride so we are looking forward to that. I'll probably take her to Rolling Thunder with me next year.
My daughters granddad got my 16 yr old daughter a little buell for her b-day. Now we all 3 have bikes and been doing riding together. Havent hit the long one yet. Been staying on the backroads around the house.

Good advice. I read somewhere that you really don't get competent on a motorcycle until you have about 3500 miles riding.
My son and I a couple of years ago rode from St. Louis to Gulfport MS and on to Pensacola on our first long ride. Then back up through Ala, Ky, TN, IL and home. About 2500 miles or so. He was riding an old Gold Wing that I had. Never had so much fun on a road trip!
