Is anyone else having problems getting the headset attached to your helmet/s? I have a number of full and 3/4 helmets and the clamp just doesn't spread out enough. So I'm using longer screws, but that doesn't lead to a very secure clamp.

 

Are you slipping the clamp underneath the helmet liner..?

 

Lets face it, the brand and design of the helmet you are attaching it too makes a big difference. Some accept the headseat easily, others, the design of the helmet makes it a PITA.

 

You do need to be attaching it under the liner. What Brand/model helmet?

 

Bell 3/4 and I am attaching it under the liner, but still not secure at all

 

Between my girl and I we have 8 different helmets of different brands and have always been able to get the headset clamps up under the liner and clamped.
