I've got a pair of Ariat's Heritage Ropers for nice weather days. Always liked ease of cowboy boots, grew up wearing 'em so kind of familiar. For nasty weather, I have a pair of Aerostich Combat touring boots. They'll survive the zombie apocalypse and if you treat the leather they're pretty dang waterproof.

+1on that one. Also as far as comfort and durability Whites Firejumper are second to non. They are a little pricey but u get what u pay.
