Default Really Surprised

I just put a new Dunlop American Elite Generation II on the back of my 2012 Ultra. Couldn't believe how much smoother it rode. First I thought it was my imagination, but the more I rode, the more I thought it rode better. Even thinking about going ahead and doing the front tire. I had Dunlop E3s on my 1999 Ultra. I have always thought the old bike had a smoother ride. Maybe it was just the tires. Also use Dyna Beads to balance the new tire. They seem to work good.

I just received a front and rear AE I ordered from Motorcycle Superstore. They have a great sale price now with a $40 rebate. I may just order my next set and store them in my shop. That is a great tire and all I would run on my Ultra. They have never failed me in dry or wet weather.

Very happy with the American Elites on my Street Glide.

But to be fair, just about any "new" tire is going to feel much better and smoother than the worn out tire you took off.

Put a set of Avon's on there and you will think your riding a new bike.

Friend put Dunlop AE on the rear of his road glide the same day I did. He likes the Dunlop better.

Every time I put new tires on it feels like a new bike. I do like that tire though.

When I need a new tire I'll replace both at the same time. It'll be Dunlop 2nd Generation. I want to see if there's really any difference between them & OEM Dunlop.
