Im looking for a used($) trailer to tow my EGC when needed, found a Kendon single bike trailer but getting a 800 lb + bike up and off it looks to be a concern. All though its only a 13 inch rise the ramp is narrow and backing it off the trailer doesnt look safe to me,no where to put my feet if I sat on the bike or standing next to the bike while backing it off sounds like a balancing act. Im 5,7 and 165, anyone using this trailer have any input
I have a single Kendon trailer for my Road King and have no problems at all with it. I don't Ride up on the trailer, I prefer to push the bike up, maybe just me but that's how I do it.
The Kendon pulls nice and is very versatile and folds up in the corner of my garage.

I just sold my two bike Kendon trailer after I sold my heritage and bought a EG Classic. The heritage was lowered and much lighter and you could ride up on the ramp. I was in no way going to trailer my new bike, it is a touring bike and would look silly being trailered. That and the fact that the bike is heavy and you would need help getting it into the trailer. Don't get me wrong, the Kendon trailer is solid and sturdy, I would just not trust myself loading and unloading a big touring bike. I did trailer a street glide a couple of times with no problems.
likewise, did not care for the narrow ramp. concerns how it handles at highway speeds. I prefer to have a heavy enclosed trailer when I have to trailer the bike. But the EG was meant to be rode.
I have the single trailer. As said, it take 2 to load and unload safely. I put my 09 Ultra up there no problem with 2 people. Does a great job on the road. I live in a deed restricted development and can not have a trailer outside. Mine stands up in the garrage. I had a flatbed trailer the Kendon is easier to tie down - Great trailer.
I had a Kendon two-up and sold it after I got my enclosed trailer. No where to put your feet down was a problem unless you had really long legs. It loaded up pretty easy. I just rode my bikes up the ramp after it was hitched to my truck. I towed an 06 Street Glide and my wifes 06 Street Bob. Many trips to Florida and Sturgis from Ohio with no problems.
