Saddlebag insert tint

Haven't posted any pics of the bike for awhile so thought I'd share. Can't take credit for this idea as I came across it here

I used the same Rust-Oleum tint but used three coats which pretty much blacked out the lens. Very happy with the end results:

Prep:

After 3rd coat:

Finished product on the bike:

*bag isn't dirty, just highly reflective*

Also removed the yellow reflectors from the front forks:

That looks good. Before I changed my inserts I used black reflective tape and covered the reflectors. Looked very similar but without that amount of prep.

Does Harley make replacement inserts? Got my bike pretty much blacked out as far as lenses are concerned but still have the red on the bags.

I really like the look!! Does anyone have pics of it on a lighter colored bike. I'm not sure if they would look good on the amber, or make them stick out more.
