Default mp3 discs

If I burn hours of music onto one mp3 disc, will it be able to play in my stock cd player on my 2003 Electra Glide Classic?

I know I could just try it, but why not ask first.

Thanks

Yes. But you will need to use a program to strip the mp3 files of their tags, otherwise they can interfere with the playback

I was just reading where someone said that only '06 and newer head units would read mp3 format. Bummer!

[[ I was just reading where someone said that only '06 and newer head units would read mp3 format. Bummer! ]]

The alternative is to get an mp3 player (iPod, Android, there are all kinds of them), and plug it into the auxilliary jack on the stereo. Then tuck the player somewhere, like a windshield pouch.

The downside is that you have to reach into the pouch to access the controls. I'll guess that there are some players out there that have a little remote control. You could rig up some way to hook it to the handlebars...
