Exclamation Thread size for Forks. Quick please.
Anybody out there that can tell me the thread size and pitch of the fork cap on my 09 street glide with the 41mm showa forks? I was trying to gently tap them free from the trees when my tool slipped and f'd up the first thread. I just need to know the size so I can tap it back. I'm thinking maybe m16-1.50. Is this right?

You might be able to fix it with a small angled file.

Pick up a "thread file" at a tool store ... Sears, etc. Much safer and easy to use.
