I'll be going down there to show them myself today that the bike will do this with the amp disconnected etc. I guess I have to do the work for them which is complete BS, but it takes what it takes.
tell the morons/parts changers to simply pull the fuse under the seat and test it again if they think the amp is causing this. What a crock..
So, I was able to talk to the tech on the phone. He now actually understands the issue as it was not properly notated on the work order. He had a few ideas like the splines on the rotor wearing out possibly regulator, etc.
He is going to ride the bike long enough for the issue to occur and trouble shoot from there after removing the fuse from the amp. I am always intrigued when i find out that the mechanic is not on hourly, but gets paid by the job and the service manager told me the opposite. Why do people have a need to lie to their customers? It only makes things harder on down the line. Now I will trust nothing either of the service guys tell me and I will make it a point to let them know that I know they are lying.
I just don't get how they get anything done like this. After talking to the tech I do have more faith in the whole situation as he seems seasoned but I cannot make any final judgement until the bike is fixed.
He cannot get back to it until next week so I will report back then.

go figure.. a service writer that cannot communicate.

I was surprised how the tech had no understanding of the problem. It would seem that if they are as busy as they claim they would prefer to get bikes in and out quickly.
