I just installed the custom auxillary light kit on my 07 SG. Is there anyway to adjust these lights up and down or do you just get what you get? I didn't see anything in the Harley instructions and they lights only look like they adjust from left to right.....
I wanted to say thanks to everyone in this forum! As stated before, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, but with some of the other posts about this topic my dad and I were able to tackle this job and save some money.
On my heritage in the manual it stated "using a towel or some similiar covering grasp the lamp carefully as not to break it and bend it to the desired position" In other words there is no vertical adj,the bracket that holds the lamp bends fairly easily and I found it didnt take a lot to make a big difference, not sure if baggers are the same, might check owners manual..
There is minimal vertrical adjustment (bolt loosened) most is side to side... Carefull bending the custom ones, as you can break the bracket (pot metal).. Mine lined up ok just needed a small tweak.. Loosened the bolt an it worked out...
