Need to add some highway pegs to my 2012 Ultra Classic in order to be able to stretch out on those longer rides.
I'm thinking of using the angled adjustable peg mounts that HD has. At 6'2" I'm guessing I will be "reversing" the mounts forward around the lowers to get the space I need.
My question is there are 2 to choose from...the long ones at 5" (giving 10" of total adjustment), or the short ones at 2.5" (giving 5" of total adjustment). I'm thinking the short 2.5" ones will do the trick but am looking for some feedback if any of you (at aprox 6'2") have had experience with either of these.
This is what I use, I am about the same height/inseam and have them adjusted so I can keep my heal on the boards, just use the peg or throw my leg over the peg. Gives you a lot of choices on the long rides. I rarely have my feet on the boards...
They are the Harley 360 degree arms, any pegs will do.

Thx Python! Do you know if these are the short 2.5" or long 5" ones?
6'3" I used the short reversed, otherwise they were worthless, way to close to be any help. The way it came out they are @ the correct angle, 90 degrees to my leg

Very nice Pete! Thx for the note & pic. I think you have confirmed for me what I was thinking.
Welcome, they look better the other way but function is what I wanted, I have one knee that demands to be straightened out every couple hours. Nother pic if it will help, pegs are left over from my street glide.
