Default Drop seat kits

Hi! all. I have read most of the threads regarding drop seat kits but no one mention about this option. I know this kits, whether FBI or Bagger Werx, come with its own seat but I want an option.

Does this kit gives you an option to re-used your stock seat or use a different types of seat like a seat with a backrest?

Thanks,

no information to back it but would not think you could use your stock seat.

I have the FBI kit on mine. Stock seat won't work. FBI has the touring seat with the backrest, I've got one. Haven't bought the backrest yet tho. Once I get my new handlebars I'll get the backrest. Right now the bars don't have enough pullback to let me lean on a backrest lol.

my buddy has the FBI kit..... he doesn't care for the drop seat either. He's contemplating having a custom one made..... the FBI seat looks a bit odd IMHO

Check out mean city cycles. They can modify you stock seat to a lower seating position and there is no need to add all the lowering hardware and you can still use your oem backrest. Also, much cheaper.
