ape handlebar

Hello! Anyone here with an ape handlebar on your streetglide? Does the cables and hydraulic lines must be replaced with a longer one?

It depends on how tall you go with the apes. I put 12" HD apes on mine and was able to use stock cable and brake line

Yup, as said above, anything over 12", you're changing it all.

You can get complete kits from places like Yaffe, Carlini, and some others. Just do some internet research and look around for whats out there. Some of them are pretty good deals.

The HD shop told me anything above 10 you should look into swapping out the cables, and anything above 12 you REALLY need to.

If I may toss in a word of advise. DONT let the fact that youll have to buy new cables be the reason you dont go as high as you want. You're not going to be happy with 12s, when you want/need 14s.. and you cant get your time or money back from labor spent...
