05 Road King
I'm new to riding and got an 05 road king about 3 months ago and I'm absolutely loving it! It has a few mods done, Rinehart true duals, kurckyn intake, stage 1 tune, custom paint by Other Side Customs in Dallas, and tons of chrome. I'm wanting to do some fat KST 14 or 16" apes, stretched hard bags, and either an extreme 21" front or fat spoke 21". The only complaint I have w the bike is the 5 speed. I do a lot of highway riding g to work and such and seems like the olé 88 is just screaming at 80! The 6 speed is out of the question for now just don't have the funds! Lol any other suggestions?

When I had my '02 RKC I was always feeling like I needed a 6th gear as well. The bottom line is the 88 won't be hurt without it and you'll get a lot of great miles out of it. Just kick back and enjoy the ride.

Ya know, an Ultima 6 speed can be found for $500. My bud put one in his '05 Ultra Classic and he's really happy with it. He paid $500 CANADIAN, which is like $20 USD or something. He did it himself.
