Ok guys, I'm stumped and need some of your sound knowledge (flattery intended) to help me figure this out. My 2008 RK has been having an intermittent starting problem and driving me crazy. It will rollover plenty fast but that's it, won't even try to kick. Can hear the fuel pump running fine and can see the spray in the tank from the return line. Bike does not have security on it. Try cycling everything (ignition, pump, starter) several times, sometimes it'll fire up other times not. Get pi$$ ed off walk away, try again a while later and it might fire up as soon as I hit the button.
When it's running it goes down the road without any hickups whatsoever, high speed, idle, doesn't matter.
The bike might be setting for a couple days when it acts up so it's stone cold or the next time it might do it after I just fueled up and everything is up to temperature. Doesn't matter if the tank is full or close to empty and it's not showing any codes.
The bike has 16000 miles on it and the only work done to it is Arlen Ness big sucker intake, v&h big shot duals and a v&h fuelpak.
Hopefully someone will chime in and point me in the right direction before I go absolutely nuts.
Thanks
