P.S. Maybe you should wait for the 15's to come out and buy a 14 SGS. There may be more bargaining power.
I was at my dealer last weekend and they had 4 SGS in the showroom. Most will want the 15 when they come out in a few weeks although i dont think there will be any changes.
You never know till you ask.
Some dealers may want that bike back in stock and give you something you wont expect....especially since your buying another expensive bike.
I know that while travelling I had a dealer in Colorado offer me a thousand under what I paid on my 14 limited water cooled bike if I traded for something of the same value or higher.
Said he would make it up on the new bike and I would come out even.
I had 3100 miles on the bike.
I was tempted.
Got to a place where I'm comfortable with the delta I have to pay, including giving them back their stock stuff e.g. slip on exhaust, powered antenna, etc. and having them flip it onto the new scooter. Picking it up later today. It's a bad time to have to pay for a bad decision, but a good time to deal on a 14.
