Actually oil is less dense then water, but heavier than water. So are you saying water can leak thru a gap smaller then oil can leak out of? I know the oil companies say one of the main reason oil has a shelf life is moisture can get into a sealed plastic bottle. ...
If oil is less dense than water, why would water get into a sealed plastic bottle, but the oil won't escape it?
If oil is heavier than water, why does it float on top, and water settles to bottom?
I use Mobil1 75-90/75-140 all the time in both our bikes and its never drained out white before, there's more going on here than the lube being in question.
I've got nothing to add except I have used Mobil 1 synthetic gear lubes in my transmission several times and it's always came out looking brand new.So much so I'm looking at it wondering why the hell am I changing this. Definitely not the oil.

Which is why, in my mind, I only considered WHERE water could come from, not why...
Are you implying 1960 scared the **** out of someone and they are not owning up to it?
well it's my daily ride so it does not sit much ,, dont wash it to often ,, mabe once since the last fluid change ( i keep here wiped down all the time) ,, and have not been caught rain but mabe twice and it was not that bad at all just light rain.. but i guess it does not take to much moister to milk out 24 oz. of oil,, but i mean it came out like soliad white fresh milk,, white , white , white,. could not even tell it was oil to look at it,.

Actually, I had thought that there could be a possibility somebody put water in there. But, it would be much easier, and probably cause more damage to put water in the oil, not to mention the oil dipstick cap is more noticeable. Can't see anyone digging out an allen wrench. Not very likely IMHO...
no it was not bubbles,, it was all white just like milk ,, looked like oil watered down ,, seen lots of oil with water in it as i work in a truck shop (peterbilt) and this is the first time my trans oil came out looking like this ,, i change every 5-6k and usually looks almost new when drained all the other times ,, so i was just wondering if it was the mobile 1 synth. oil .first time i have used it,, iam just concerned ,,
thanks
I use that same oil...never had that consistency when drained. It looked so good at 5k I decided to go to 10 k before next change.
