'07 noises
I like 'em!
When I hit 5th gear I know it because of the whine. When it makes noises in a certain gear, I downshift and twist the throttle.My RK Classic makes sweet noise when I push it. I think that's what she wants.
I just can't seem to get enough seat time. I make 70-100 mile loops any afternoon that I can but even at 3-4 times per week it's not enough.
Ya'll quit fussing about the noises, embrace 'em and enjoy the ride. Every long time rider that I've come into contact with says that a Harley makes all kinds of noises.
My tranny shifts with a clunk each time and feels like a truck. Makes me think it's overbuilt and will withstand a little bit of breaking in.
I test rode a 700 Kaw tonight for a friend who is looking to buy a starter bike and it was pathetic. My big black RK would have laughed at this POS!
Comfort, class, and one hell of a presence, that's what I'm talking about!
96ci, 6 speeds and cool factor to no end. What more could ya ask for?

Ya Isnt It a hoot. Its really just singing to you. imo. Id rather push my bike with ear muffs on than ride anything else. Onceyou experience a hd and expand you sences to those sounds anyother machine is just embarising to say the least. Makes me helucinate and want to play jimi hendrix star spangle banner on an electric guitar.

My sentiments also, my Street Glide is alot different than my 98 Heritage.It feels stronger, rides stronger, thatnoiseyou hear isAmerican engineering at it's best.I only had about 370 miles of seat time so far but I'm impressed and I can't waitto put "Beyonce" in the wind. I have no heat problems and I'm too busy to notice 5 gear whine,what thehell are these guys talking about!!, makes me wonder if they really do have a new Hawg.If they do then thesewhiners should get aGoldwing if they want their bikes to sound like a liquid cooledLexus. I will take the shake,1st gear clunk, and trannywhine any day before I go metric!!
