Default Hey come in here and help the potential buyer

This is the thread where you can talk about how great your 07 is. This way you don't have to harass those that have real issues.

Later,

TE

Just the other day was thinking that bike sounds better with new stock pipes. still sitting on the fence desiding if I need engine mods. most of the time have enough power, sound. It really dose have a nice (little) rumble to it for stock. Ive even had people say its loud and could not believe it was stock, though I obviously could tell.

Yeah, cause those "real" issues have left how many people stranded on the side of the road? What's that? None? Hmmm, until it breaks down it isn't a "real" issue just an annoyance. There has been several threads for us Happy '07 owners and the best part is, they were started by Happy '07 owners. Take your whine, sorry whining, somewhere else.

Hey about taking your whining about people whining somewhere else. Now what?

My 07 roadglide ran good stock but a tad hotter than my 88, I added a set of Vance and Hines ovals, ness big sucker air cleaner and a PCIII from fuelmoto and had the 903 download done. It runs great now, very powerful, sounds awesome andl heat is down to the same as my 88 with the same mods was. The 5th gear whine has lessened with some miles, but has never been a issue and not noticable unless you try and hear it. I plan on switching to Amsoil 75/90 because in my other bikes it really smoothed out the shifting. It is stronger and faster than any of my previous harleys. No need to be scared of the 07 like some would have you believe, but if youre undecided 08s will be out in august.

This is good to hear, as I get my 07 FLHRS this Friday or Saturday.

Already has 0903 adj. in from factory and plan after break-in is;

Supertrapp SE slip-ons
K&N RK-3909 kit
HD dealer download
Syn3 fluids (free fluids first 5,000 miles at dealer)
Then I will add V&H Fuel Pak at home

Hope this will be a nice cruiser.

My new Classic has 600 miles on it now, and I noticed at around 250 miles the 5th gear whine started- not too bad, but there. At around 500 miles started hearing very slight whine in 6th- barely noticeable, but again- there. Doesn't really bother me (sounds like a Jap bike gearbox)but if it gets louder I'll try the thicker tranny oil recommended by others in the forums.

Bike has stumbled twice (once at about 200 miles, again at 500 miles) while taking off from a light. It may have a slight vacuum leak or some kinda faulty EFI sensor somewhere. Will have it looked at by dealer at 1000 mile service.

I've decided to leave engine stock (more than enough power for me) and leave the stock pipes on as they're deep &throaty andsound good when you get on it, but still reasonably quiet on the highway. Best sounding stock Harley pipes ever, IMO.

Rides like a Caddy and handles like a dream for such a big bike. All in all an excellent machine.

Sounds good but if you want my 02cents, if you plan on adding the fuelpak dont waste the close to 200.00 on the download (149.00 + 1/2hour labor) the fuel pak works better with the stock ecm settings. Do the SE air cleaner or ness big sucker over just the filter, it doesnt do much to let it breath better. Also stay away from syn 3, its not even a true syn oil and for sure dont let them put it in the transmission. Id much rather have the 360 regular oil but dealers carry the good stuff, mobil1 vtwin, ask if you can pay the 2.00 diff and get it.
